Job Description

The successful applicant will be responsible, in conjunction with the rest of our technical team, to perform various customer service related tasks including, but not limited to:

  • On site and remote support for client networks
  • Design and implementation of client IT systems
  • Scheduled maintenance on client and internal networks
  • Support VPN, VLan, QoS and routing for VoIP telephone systems
  • On call support for high-priority client issues

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years general IT experience with a service provider or in a corporate IT department with direct experience with the Windows Server platform
  • Microsoft certification a valuable asset (MCSE, MCSA, MCITP)
  • Experience deploying cloud solutions would be a definite asset (Office 365, Cloud File Sharing, Veeam Cloud Backup, Cloud managed AV)
  • Cisco certification a valuable asset (CCNA, CCNP)
  • Strong customer service skills and experience providing remote support is essential
  • Ability to work effectively & efficiently with minimal supervision is absolutely mandatory
  • Rotation of 24 hour on-call technical support will be required
